THE DETAILS
As I think about the precious few photos I have of my great grandparents, I am very thankful that they had them printed and I am in possession of them today. I realize we live in a digital age, with social media platforms galore. But, I think our generation is realizing that those CDs and thumb drives full of precious family photos are sitting in a desk drawer and not serving the purposes that they were meant for.
Technology is ever changing. In 10+ years from now, CDs will be obsolete. Those digital files will be useless. Those memories will never make it to your posterity. Be sure you choose a photographer that offers prints and albums. Something you can treasure now and that can be passed down generation to generation. I believe in photographs. I am a bit sentimental about it. Photographs tell stories. Photographs are our memories. Their value is priceless. I believe that. And, that's why I believe in what I do.
